The hotel
St. Regis comes to the canal.
The St. Regis Downtown Dubai opened in October 2021, the brand's second hotel in the city after its first on The Palm. It stands on Marasi Drive in Business Bay, on the bank of the Dubai Water Canal, a short ride from the Dubai Mall, the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Opera. The Dubai Design District and the financial centre are a few minutes away by car.
The house rituals came with it. A butler looks after every room and suite at any hour, the afternoon tea follows the St. Regis custom, and each evening a bottle of champagne is opened with a sabre at the St. Regis Bar, beneath a mirrored mural drawn from the Arabian night sky. The spa has six treatment suites, and the Astor Ballroom, 564 square metres, followed in 2022.
- A butler for everyone St. Regis Butler Service covers every room and suite, at any hour of the day or night.
- Pool over the canal The infinity pool on the third floor looks over the water to the Downtown skyline, with a pool bar for light meals and sundowners.
- The St. Regis Spa Six treatment suites, a traditional Arabian hammam, flotation therapy and a 24-karat gold facial.
