The hotel
A small hotel in the financial district.
Four Seasons opened its second Dubai hotel in March 2016, in Gate Village at the heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre. Four Seasons calls it intimately scaled: 106 rooms, 28 of them suites. There are two entrances, one for cars and one on foot from the galleries and restaurants of the district. The beach resort at Jumeirah is about fifteen minutes away, and guests can sign for purchases there.
Adam Tihany designed the interiors with a light hand. A gold chandelier in the Penrose Lounge maps the constellations, the ceiling of the rooftop bar takes its pattern from falcons, and wall murals recall sand and sea. Rooms are in pale, earthy colours, with limestone bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes. In 2026 the Japanese restaurant KIGO, opened a year earlier, won a MICHELIN star, and its chef Akinori Tanigawa the guide's Service Award.
- The rooftop pool A glass-walled pool on the roof, with four private cabanas, meze at Glasswater and views over the skyline.
- KIGO Kaiseki and Edomae sushi from chef Akinori Tanigawa at a twelve-seat counter, starred in the MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2026.
- Luna Dubai The rooftop bar, with the Burj Khalifa in view and an aperitivo at sunset.
