The hotel
New on the Punta Espada shore.
The St. Regis opened in the spring of 2025 inside the gated Cap Cana community, beside Punta Espada, the Jack Nicklaus signature course that runs along the sea. Acebal Canney Arquitectos & Asociados drew the buildings, and the Toronto studio Chapi Design did the interiors in a tropical style. Of the 200 rooms, 36 are suites with direct access to a plunge pool, and the resort has a beach of its own.
At the top sits the Presidential Suite: two bedrooms, 6,500 square feet and a balcony over the ocean. The food is led by the Peruvian chef Diego Muñoz at Nina, with the Uma wine cellar for private dinners. The brand's rituals came too, with champagne sabred at the St. Regis Bar, a caviar service and a cigar and rum lounge called The Amber Room.
- Cielo Mio A pool and tiki-style bar on the roof, with Mexican and Latin plates and views along the coast.
- Four pools Areas for adults only and others for families, plus swim-out suites with direct access to the water.
- The St. Regis Spa Treatment rooms, a water area for men and women, indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces and a spa suite.
