The hotel
Fifty-one floors up.
The Ritz-Carlton opened in 2015 with the second phase of Galaxy Macau, the resort that Galaxy Entertainment Group built on the Cotai Strip. It occupies the upper floors of the complex and holds suites only, with no standard rooms. Arrivals ride straight up to the lobby on the 51st floor, where the bar and Lai Heen also look out across Cotai.
The decor puts European furniture beside Chinese screens, large vases and circular motifs, in pale blues, purples and taupe, with Portuguese azulejo tiles as a reminder of Macau's past. Bathrooms are in marble, with a walk-in shower and a freestanding tub. In 2026 Forbes Travel Guide gave the hotel five stars for the tenth year, and the MICHELIN Guide awarded it one Key.
- Lai Heen Classic Cantonese cooking on the 51st floor, with one MICHELIN star in the 2026 guide.
- The Ritz-Carlton Spa Ten treatment rooms and three couples' suites, with saunas and a vitality pool lit like a night sky.
- The Grand Resort Deck Galaxy Macau's shared deck, with the 8,000 square metre Skytop Wave Pool and a river of rapids 575 metres long; the hotel keeps its own pool and bar on the third floor.
