The hotel
The palace tower.
SJM opened Grand Lisboa Palace on 30 July 2021, after a build that cost some HK$39 billion. Daisy Ho, the company's chairman, opened it with only part of one tower ready, and the rest followed as Macau's borders reopened. The resort now holds three hotels: this one, The Karl Lagerfeld and Palazzo Versace Macau. In 2026 they won ten Forbes Five-Star awards between them, and two MICHELIN Keys each.
This tower is the biggest of the three, with 1,350 rooms. The interiors mix Chinese and European motifs, and the Deluxe Suites borrow the azulejo tiles that Portugal left on Macau. Seven local artists were commissioned for the public spaces. Rooms on one side look over Cotai; on the other they face the Jardim Secreto, a formal garden in the European manner, where the outdoor pool is ringed with green.
- The Jardim Secreto The resort's formal garden, which many rooms overlook and around which the outdoor pool is laid out.
- The Spa at Grand Lisboa Palace Twelve private treatment suites, rated Five-Star by Forbes Travel Guide in 2026.
- Three starred kitchens Palace Garden, Zuicho and Don Alfonso 1890 each hold one MICHELIN star in the 2026 guide, all within the resort.
