The hotel
Neoclassical lines on the Cotai Strip.
The hotel opened on the Cotai Strip in August 2008. Steelman Partners designed it, and HBA did the interiors, mixing neoclassical lines with Chinese touches: jewel colours, brocade and velvet, and suites dressed after traditional Portuguese decorative arts. Rooms start at 46 square metres, each with a marble bathroom, a rain shower and a deep bath. Three floors of designer shops fill the podium next door.
The main hotel has twenty storeys and 360 rooms and suites. Beside it, a forty-storey tower holds 289 Grand Suites, with interiors by Peter Silling. A covered walkway leads to the Shoppes at Four Seasons and the Venetian. Out in the gardens are five pools and ten cabanas, and the spa covers 1,858 square metres. In 2026 the MICHELIN Guide gave the hotel one Key, and Zi Yat Heen holds one star.
- Five pools A lagoon-style pool and shallow pools for children among the five, with ten cabanas around them.
- Zi Yat Heen Cantonese cooking and dim sum under chef Ho Yam To, with one MICHELIN star.
- The spa Fourteen treatment rooms on the fourth floor, with a Finnish sauna, a mosaic vitality pool and ice fountains.
