The hotel

Palazzo Versace Macau fills one of the three towers of Grand Lisboa Palace, the SJM resort that began opening in 2021. The first rooms took guests in 2023, and the hotel was opened officially that November. It is the first Palazzo Versace in Asia and the sister of the one in Dubai, which opened in 2016. The airport is seven to ten minutes away by car.
The interiors were made under Donatella Versace's direction. The Milan firm Fantini Mosaici laid more than six million hand-cut tiles across twelve floors, and in the lobby some eighty thousand enamel pieces picture the palazzo at Via Gesù 12 in Milan, home of the Versace atelier. Medusa heads share the walls with Chinese dragons and chrysanthemums, and the bathrooms are in Italian marble.
