The hotel
Three styles of villa near the beach.
Most of the resort is given over to villas: 115 of them, standing apart from one another, each with a courtyard and a private pool. They come in three styles, Thai, Burmese and Nanyang, and range from 150 to 270 square metres. A main building with rooms of 48 square metres stands beside them, with two large pools of 930 and 850 square metres.
The estate covers about nine hectares inland from the Yalong Bay shore. The beach is roughly seven minutes away, and Yalong Bay Golf Club lies 500 metres off, a ten-minute walk. Le Chinois cooks Cantonese, Thai and local dishes, Rive Gauche serves through the day, and the Soda Bar pours cocktails and afternoon tea. The Spa Lounge has six treatment rooms, and the gym is open around the clock.

Before you go.
- Renovation Until 30 November 2026 the main building, its main pool, the water slide and the Kids' Club are closed for work on the rooms. The villas, lobby, restaurants and gym stay open.
- Arrival Check-in from 2 pm, check-out by noon.

Sanya Phoenix International is about 34 kilometres away; allow around 40 minutes by car, our estimate. Business jets land at the same airport, where Deer Jet runs a dedicated terminal. Yalong Bay railway station is about 10 kilometres off.

- Is the Pullman Sanya Yalong Bay open during the renovation?
- Yes. From 1 September to 30 November 2026 the main building is closed, but the villas, the lobby, the restaurants and the gym remain open.
- Do all the villas have a private pool?
- Yes. All 115 villas have their own pool, from 30 square metres in the Myanmar villas to 60 in the Thai villas.
- How far is the resort from the beach?
- About seven minutes, according to the resort. Yalong Bay Golf Club is 500 metres away.
