The city
Snow, pistes and the altiport.
Courchevel is six villages on the same slopes, from Le Praz and La Tania to 1850 at the top, with Village, Moriond and Saint-Bon between. Its own pistes add up to about 150 kilometres, and the lifts connect to Méribel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens for some 600 kilometres of skiing across Les 3 Vallées.
The lifts run from early December to mid-April; for the 2026/27 season, from 4 December to 18 April. From December to February the days stay around freezing. After the lifts close, the evenings turn to dinner: seven restaurants in the resort hold MICHELIN stars, one of them three.
Arriving
Valley airports, mountain landing.
The resort is reached through the valley airports. Geneva has the widest choice of flights, Chambéry is the closest jet airport, and the altiport at 1850 takes only small aircraft flown by specially rated pilots.
