The hotel
Rosewood comes to the snow.
Rosewood had never run a winter resort until December 2025, when it opened this hotel in the Jardin Alpin, at the top of Courchevel 1850. It is the group's second address in mainland France, after Hôtel de Crillon in Paris. The building is a conversion of an existing property, reworked from end to end by the French designer Tristan Auer.
Auer used timber, stone, copper and mirror, with carved doors, open fires and terraces turned to the sun. Inside hangs a commission by Olafur Eliasson: two crystalline forms suspended among mirrored walls and ceilings. Three houses for up to eight guests sit among the 51 rooms and suites; the largest, the Jardin Alpin Apartment, has four bedrooms and a cinema of its own. In September 2026, after a single season, the MICHELIN Guide gave the hotel two Keys.
- Ski concierge A team that plans each day on the Trois Vallées, including First and Last Track runs with a private instructor at the start and end of the day.
- Asaya Rosewood's wellness concept, here for the first time, with an indoor pool and post-ski treatments.
- For families A kids club, and rooms that connect for larger groups.
