The hotel
A small hotel at the top of a tower.
Banyan Tree came to Malaysia for the first time in 2018. It took the top floors of the Banyan Tree Signatures Pavilion Kuala Lumpur building, a curved tower on Jalan Conlay in the Golden Triangle, across from the Pavilion shopping centre. The hotel fills the top seven floors and holds just 55 rooms and suites, small for a city tower of this height.
Most windows look towards the Petronas Twin Towers and the KL Tower. On level 53 there is an open-air pool and Altitude for afternoon tea, on level 58 Horizon Grill, and on level 59 Vertigo, the rooftop bar. Every room has a chromotherapy shower, and the suites have their own relaxation pools. In the spa, every therapist trains for at least 250 hours before treating a guest.
- Vertigo The bar on level 59, with cocktails, Southeast Asian tapas and the city laid out below.
- Banyan Tree Spa Traditional Asian treatments, from aromatherapy to herbal compresses, given by therapists with long in-house training.
- Level 53 An open-air pool, and Altitude for coffee, wine and afternoon tea.
