The hotel

Built in the Iryapú forest.

Work on Falls Iguazú began in 2011, and the hotel opened on 20 April 2017, when Argentina's tourism minister came to cut the ribbon. It belongs to an Argentine group with hotels in the province of Buenos Aires, and stands on six hectares inside the Selva Iryapú, a block of six hundred hectares of forest set aside for tourism outside Puerto Iguazú.

Every room has a whirlpool bath, and most have a balcony. Outside, the pool is ringed with native plants and has a bar at its edge. The kitchen leans on Misiones: mbeju, reviro and fried cakes appear at the afternoon spread, and Bar Selvático serves lunch and dinner among the trees. Children have a Kids Zone with its own team, and the Ka'Aguy hall covers 1,200 square metres.

  • Guavirá Spa A Roman bath, hydromassage, dry and wet saunas and massage, for guests over eighteen, at extra cost.
  • The pool Outdoors, with several depths, native plants around it and the Lembú grill and bar alongside.
  • For children A Kids Zone with supervised activities and staff, plus connecting rooms and family rooms for four.
