The hotel
A Hollywood regular since 1987.
The hotel opened in April 1987 on South Doheny Drive, at the edge of Beverly Hills, a few minutes from Rodeo Drive and Robertson Boulevard. Gin Wong Associates designed the sixteen-storey building, and every room was given a balcony, facing either the Hollywood Hills or Downtown. Inside, European art and antiques sit beside Old Hollywood touches.
In the Hollywood awards season the hotel is at the centre of things. Jeff Leatham's flower arrangements mark the lobby. More recently the fourth floor was turned into a Wellness Floor with Delos Living, with purified air, lighting tuned to the body clock and yoga kit in the rooms, on the same level as the pool.
- The pool terrace A saltwater pool kept at about 26 °C on the fourth floor, with six cabanas, a raised whirlpool and an open-air gym that never closes.
- Wellness Floor Rooms and suites developed with Delos Living, with air purification, circadian lighting, sound machines and yoga equipment.
- Culina Italian cooking with a crudo bar and a patio around a fire and water fountain.
