The hotel
Bridges through the forest.
Loi Suites built its Iguazú hotel in 2007 inside the Iryapú reserve, a stretch of subtropical forest outside Puerto Iguazú that the hotel shares with four Indigenous communities. The falls are about fifteen minutes away by car. Public rooms are built of wood, and every one of the 160 bedrooms looks into the trees. The hotel holds the Hoteles más Verdes sustainability label.
The Studio Junior rooms stand in separate modules linked by hanging bridges above the forest floor. The pools are stepped among native trees, and an adults-only section ends in an infinity pool above the Iguazú River, with a heated part, a solarium and a bar. The Vilas, the largest rooms, sit apart in a garden of their own, each with a private jacuzzi on its deck.

Every room faces the forest. Sizes run from 37 square metres for a Studio Junior to 57 for a Vila.

- Larger room Superior 44 square metres with an L-shaped balcony of 10 square metres. A four-bed version suits families with small children.
- For two Suite 42 square metres, with a hot tub on its 11 square metre balcony.
- The largest Vila 57 square metres in a secluded garden, with a 30 square metre deck and a private jacuzzi. Adults only.

Before you go.
- Pools One booking site lists the pool closed from 1 October 2026 to 30 April 2027; the hotel's own site shows no notice. Worth checking with the hotel before you book.
- Children Welcome in most rooms, with the Loi Kids programme. The Vilas are for adults.

Flying to Puerto Iguazú.
Cataratas del Iguazú International (IGR) takes domestic airline flights and private jets on a 3,300 metre runway, with customs and immigration on two hours' notice. The hotel is about twenty minutes away by car, our estimate.
