The hotel
Singapore comes to Bishopsgate.
Pan Pacific London opened on 1 September 2021, the first hotel in Europe for the Singapore group. It fills the lower floors of One Bishopsgate Plaza, a 43-storey bronze tower on Houndsditch with private apartments above. The scheme also took in Devonshire House, a Victorian building next door, and a public plaza laid out with planting between the two. Liverpool Street station is two minutes away on foot.
Yabu Pushelberg, the New York studio, did the interiors: pale oak, cream marble, orchids and bonsai, and curves where you would expect corners. The hotel has held five stars from Forbes Travel Guide every year since 2022, and in 2026 the MICHELIN Guide gave it its first Key. Its restaurant, Straits Kitchen, holds two AA Rosettes, and the Gherkin stands a short walk away.
- The SENSORY floor A whole floor of spa and wellbeing, with an 18.5-metre infinity pool behind floor-to-ceiling glass, saunas, steam rooms and a 24-hour gym.
- Kopi Tiam afternoon tea A Singaporean take on afternoon tea, with bao and dim sum served alongside the choux.
- For children and dogs Teepees can be set up in the room before arrival, and a spa menu with Bonpoint takes children from six. Dogs get a bed, bowls and a welcome pack.
