The hotel

Seven levels down the caldera.

Grace sits on the caldera rim at Imerovigli, two kilometres from Fira, built down a steep terraced cliff over seven levels. Each of its twenty-one rooms and suites has a view of about 180 degrees across the caldera, and several look straight at Skaros Rock. The hotel is small enough to be taken whole, for a family or a group of friends.

It is run by Auberge Collection, and its kitchen is led by the chef Lefteris Lazarou under his Varoulko name. The MICHELIN Guide gave it one Key in its first Greek selection in 2025 and raised it to two in 2026, one of nine Greek hotels at that level. Sea and air tours of the islands are arranged from the front desk.

  • 363 Bar Named for its height above the sea, the bar opens at six in the evening for the sunset over the caldera, with cocktails by Baba Au Rum.
  • The infinity pool A shared pool of twenty-two metres on the cliff, with loungers and the caldera below.
  • Plunge pools Eighteen of the rooms and suites have a heated plunge pool of their own on the terrace.

Rooms & suites

A terrace and a pool over the water.

Rooms run from about 50 square metres of indoor and outdoor space to the 400-square-metre villa, all facing the caldera.

  • Rooms Deluxe Room About 54 square metres including the terrace, most with a heated plunge pool and views to Skaros Rock.
  • Suites Superior, Grace and VIP Suites From about 86 to 121 square metres, each with a heated plunge pool; the VIP Suite has a steam shower for two.
  • The house The Villa About 400 square metres, 250 of them outside, with a heated pool, a steam bath, a treatment room and its own kitchen.
