The hotel
A village of chalets on the piste.
Le K2 Palace is the flagship of Le K2 Collections, which runs several hotels in Courchevel. It is laid out as a small village of 20,000 square metres near the centre of 1850: one main building, where most of the rooms are, and a series of suite-chalets beside it, the largest sleeping fourteen. The lifts start at the door, giving access to the Trois Vallées.
The hotel was a five-star from the start, and on 9 July 2014 it joined the short list of French Palaces. The names come from the Karakoram range: K2 itself, Broad Peak, Baltoro, Hidden Peak, Muztagh. The bar is called 8611, the height of K2 in metres, and a champagne welcome greets guests on arrival. The house opens only for the winter, from late November to mid-April.
- The suite-chalets Six chalets beside the main house; Baltoro has a private indoor pool with waterfalls, a hammam and a private chef.
- Goji Spa An indoor pool with massage jets looking over the valley, with sauna, steam room and treatments.
- For children A Kids Klub with its own team, renovated recently, and babysitting on request.
