The hotel
A gallery you can sleep in.
Hof Galerie is a small country house in Morsum, the village at the eastern end of Sylt, fifteen minutes by car from Westerland. Its walls change with the exhibitions: the hotel shows the work of artists who live on the island, and the twenty suites carry modern art alongside plush furnishings. The MICHELIN Guide gave the house a Key in 2025 and kept it in 2026.
Mornings start on the terrace, under old lime trees with a fountain playing. In the afternoon there is coffee and cake from the house, and across the street the hotel's own bakery sends out small dishes until six. Morsum station is two minutes on foot, Keitum ten minutes by car and the Morsum golf club five.

Flying to Sylt.
Sylt Airport at Tinnum is about fifteen minutes away by car. Scheduled flights and private jets both land there, business aircraft at the General Aviation Terminal. Trains over the Hindenburgdamm stop at Morsum, two minutes from the hotel on foot.
