The hotel
From club to cinema to hotel.
The building on Strandvejen has belonged to Hellerup since the 1920s. A local club was its first tenant; later it became a cinema, and later still a hotel. It stands beside the gardens of Øregård Park, close to the sea, about fifteen minutes north of central Copenhagen. Park Lane reopened here early in 2025, after a full renovation of the old rooms.
The Copenhagen studio &Tempel, led by Camilla van den Tempel, kept the chandeliers of the old ballroom and the high ceilings, then laid chevron wooden floors and hung handmade wallpaper. The rooms are white and light, with burnished metal and large windows. The hotel joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and the MICHELIN Guide gave it a Key in 2026.
- Parsley Salon Fine dining on a set menu, holding one MICHELIN star since 2025.
- 2900 at Park Lane Chef Tom Fransson's restaurant, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a terrace and a fireplace.
- Øregård Park The park gardens lie next door, and the sea is a short walk away.
