The hotel
A golf resort under a new name.
For nearly two decades this was the Maritim Jolie Ville Golf and Resort. Pickalbatros took it over in 2025 and gave it its present name. Rooms are in low wings and bungalows, two large pools have slides and a lazy river, and the resort runs down to a private sandy beach on Um Marikha Bay. From the grounds the view runs to the Sinai mountains on one side and towards Ras Mohammed on the other.
Next door lies the eighteen-hole course, now the Pickalbatros Golf Course. It opened in the late 1990s, a par 72 laid out by Sanford Golf Design with eighteen artificial lakes, and in 2004 it hosted the European Challenge Tour. The beach slopes gently into a sandy bay; for the coral, boats go out to the reefs. Back on land there are four tennis courts, a spa, a gym and a kids club with an aqua park for children.
