The hotel
Five beaches on Naama Bay.
The resort opened in 1998 on the slope at the northern end of Naama Bay. A main building sits at the top, and blocks of up to five storeys step down towards the water, and every room category is named for its view of the sea. At the bottom lie five natural sandy beaches, each kept for guests, with bars on two of them.
Rooms, reception and lobby have been renovated, and Mövenpick now lists 298 rooms and villas. The duplex villas are the largest, on two floors, some with a heated pool of their own. Below them, the Scorpion Dive centre takes divers out to the reefs, and the stables lead rides along the beach and into the desert. Back at the top, the Horizon Bar looks over the whole of Naama Bay.
- Five beaches Sandy coves along the foot of the resort, with loungers and a beach bar on the first and fourth.
- Diving and riding Scorpion Dive runs the diving centre on site, and the equestrian centre takes guests along the shore and onto desert trails.
- Lotus Spa Sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and a hammam, with treatments and a gym alongside.
