The hotel
A family hotel group on the Riviera.
Aristotelis Divanis ran cinemas before he went into hotels. He founded the group in 1958, opened at Meteora in 1960 and came to Athens in 1976. In 1998 the family bought the Apollon Palace at Vouliagmeni, their first address on the Athenian Riviera, and gave it the Divani name. His family still runs the group today, and its other hotels include the Caravel in Athens and Divani Corfu Palace.
Two years later the Divani Athens Spa & Thalasso opened inside the resort, built around seawater treatments, with more than eighty on the menu. The hotel stands on the shore of the Saronic Gulf, and every room and suite has a balcony over the water. Floors were remodelled for the 2018 season, and in 2025 the Greek Hospitality Awards named it the best wellness resort in Greece.
