The hotel
A long pool on Non Nuoc Beach.
Marriott opened the resort in January 2018 on Non Nuoc Beach, halfway between the centre of Da Nang and the old town of Hoi An. The 258 rooms sit in two six-storey blocks across 17.3 hectares of gardens. Their decoration is classic, in natural tones with touches of bright colour, and a Deluxe Sea View room measures 47 square metres with a balcony over the sea. The resort also has a conference centre with fourteen function rooms and a ballroom.
Between the blocks and the sea runs the infinity pool, 250 metres from end to end. The Presidential Suite has its own lift and access to the helipad. Shine Spa has seven treatment rooms, and the hotel now calls itself Sheraton Grand Danang Beach Resort & Spa. In 2024 the World Luxury Hotel Awards named it the leading beachfront resort in Vietnam, and gave prizes to the spa and to The Grill, its steakhouse. Children have a free club, a pool and a small water park of their own.
