The hotel
Under the castle hill.
Falkensteiner, the Austrian hotel group, opened this hotel in 2009 on Pilárikova street, at the foot of the castle hill and a short walk from the lanes of the old town. It was built for both business and leisure, with 162 rooms, meeting rooms that reach 173 square metres and an underground garage reached straight from the hotel. Visit Bratislava, the city's tourism board, counts it among its member hotels.
The best of it is at the top. The Acquapura City Spa, 300 square metres with a sauna lounge and a fitness area, takes the highest floor, with panoramic views of the city, and there is a Rooftop Lounge for drinks. Downstairs, Seasons serves à la carte and Bar Gold keeps a cigar lounge. Spa entry is included for everyone staying, and Executive Room guests use the lounge free of charge.
- Spa on the top floor The Acquapura City Spa, free for hotel guests, with panoramic views and a sauna lounge open until eleven at night.
- Rooftop Lounge A lounge above the city, included for guests in Executive Rooms.
- Castle and old town The castle rises behind the hotel, and the old town is a walk away.
