The hotel

Accor's first in Hungary.

The building on Nagymező utca opened in spring 2022 as the Hard Rock Hotel Budapest, the chain's first in Central Europe. Two years later Accor took over the running, and on 27 March 2024 it reopened as Pullman Budapest, the brand's first hotel in Hungary. Redwood Real Estate Holding developed and owns it. Paris Society, the restaurant and nightlife group Accor bought in 2022, drew up the food and drink. There are 136 rooms over seven floors.

From the street you see an older house with arched windows and, on top, a new steel structure in gold that reads as a crown. Inside are a large mural in the atrium, works by Anton Molnár and a Steinway Spirio piano in the lobby. The street is the city's theatre row, a few minutes from Andrássy út and the Opera.

  • Roxy A roof terrace of 280 square metres with the State Opera, St Stephen's Basilica and Buda Castle in view. Open to drinkers at weekends; on weekdays it is often taken for private events.
  • Tutto An Italian-American restaurant with seventy seats inside and thirty more on a covered balcony, open from noon until late.
  • Close to the baths There is no spa in the hotel. The Széchenyi baths are four metro stops away, and there is a gym on site with fitness kits for the room.
