Le Naoura belongs to Barrière, the French group with hotels in Paris, Deauville and Cannes. It sits by the walls at Bab Doukkala, on the edge of the old medina, and Jemaa el-Fnaa is about ten minutes away on foot. Pascal Desprez dressed the interiors in ivory, ebony and ochre, and the Diane Barrière spa covers a thousand square metres.
The hotel has two parts. The main building holds 85 rooms and suites around gardens and a heated pool. Beyond it lie 26 riads with three, four or six bedrooms, a kitchenette, a terrace and a pool of their own, which suit families and groups who want a house and the hotel's service. Le Wardya, by the main pool, serves Moroccan and Mediterranean dishes and a brunch every Sunday.
