The hotel
A golf estate on the Amizmiz road.
The estate began as the Royal Palm, owned by New Mauritius Hotels, the company behind the Beachcomber resorts, and was relaunched as a Fairmont in May 2017 under an agreement with Accor. It covers close to a square mile south-west of Marrakech, about twelve kilometres from the medina, with the High Atlas in view and private residences around the course.
Cabell B. Robinson laid out the 18 holes, par 72, through a centuries-old olive grove. The hotel is a set of linked courtyards, in the manner of a fortified village, with Moorish details on modern lines. Beyond the golf there is a spa of 3,500 square metres, a country club with tennis and squash courts, and several pools, one of them heated and ozone-treated.

- The spa 3,500 square metres in the style of a riad, with a hammam and an area set aside for women.
