The hotel
The party end of the bay.
ME Cabo stands on El Médano, the long beach in Cabo San Lucas where the water is calm enough to swim, about a kilometre from the marina and the town centre. The Arch at Land's End lies three and a half kilometres away, and the rooftop looks straight at it. The building has six floors and 169 rooms, and the hotel takes adults only.
Meliá reopened it in 2021 after a renovation worth 10 million dollars that redid the rooms and public spaces. Grupo Rosanegra, the Mexican restaurant group, brought in four dining concepts and the Taboo beach club, where DJs play from one in the afternoon until one in the morning. A rooftop bar and lounge and the KORPO Wellness Experience spa were added at the same time.
- Taboo Beach Club Mediterranean cooking by the sand, with DJs from 1 pm to 1 am, and the hotel's social life around it.
- Craft on the roof An open-fire kitchen on the rooftop, looking over the bay to the Arch.
- Party suites Some suites come with a DJ booth and a fire pit; beachfront suites have hot tubs on the terrace.
