The city
Where the desert meets two seas.
Los Cabos is the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. Cabo San Lucas, with its marina and the arch at Land's End, is at the western end; San José del Cabo, the older town, is to the east, and the Corridor of resorts runs along the coast between them.
It is dry almost all year. From October to August the days are 25 to 33 °C and rain is rare. September is the wettest month. The sea is coolest, at about 21 °C, from February to April, and warmest, at 28 to 29 °C, from August to October.
Arriving
Two airports at either end.
Airlines land at Los Cabos International, north of San José del Cabo. Private jets can use it too, or the smaller Cabo San Lucas airport at the other end of the coast.
