The hotel
The family's second hotel, made new.
George Daktylides built the first hotel on this hillside at Aggelika in 1979, the second in what became The Myconian Collection, the family's group of hotels on the island. His youngest son later inherited and renovated it, and the Korali joined Relais & Châteaux in 2016. Marios Daktylides is the host today. Every room faces the sea, over Alefkandra, the old port, and the sixteenth-century windmills.
The rooms are contemporary, with touches of mid-century modern design that recall the island's glamour years. Mykonos Town is about twenty minutes away on foot, and Little Venice is closer. Megali Ammos beach lies a few minutes downhill, and the sea is about three hundred metres from the gate. Within the hotel, the Satori Thalasso Spa has five heated saltwater pools, and Baos cooks the day's catch.
- Sunset over the windmills Kitrino Bar is the place for a cocktail at sunset, and the pool terrace looks over the town and the Aegean.
- Baos Chef Panayiotis Tsoukatos cooks with island produce and the day's catch, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Satori Thalasso Spa Five heated saltwater pools and a sauna, followed by massages and scrubs.

Private jets land at the same airport, where in July and August parking is tight and aircraft often drop their passengers and reposition.
