The hotel
From fifteen rooms to a small collection.
Bill & Coo opened in 2006 as a fifteen-room hotel on the slope above Megali Ammos Bay, just south of the Chora. The name comes from the old English phrase "billing and cooing", for lovers who kiss and murmur. The buildings follow Cycladic lines, and the Greek studio K-Studio did the interiors.
The hotel now has 32 suites and three villas, and a sister property, The Coast, on the beach at Agios Ioannis, with a free shuttle between the two. There is no beach at Megali Ammos itself. The kitchens use olive oil from the founder's family groves, and the town is a ten-minute walk along a path.
- YĒVO Aggelos Bakopoulos cooks tasting menus over fire, from May to September, with a DJ setting the pace.
- Bostani Dinner for a private party in a walled garden, cooked in a wood-fired oven beside the table.
- Valmont Spa Sauna, steam room, a hot tub and treatment rooms, open to guests of both Bill & Coo properties.
Rooms & suites
Every suite faces the sunset.
The suites look west over Megali Ammos Bay. The choice is mostly about the water outside: a jetted tub, a plunge pool or an infinity pool.
- Sea view Sea View Suite About 36 square metres with a king-size bed, also available with an outdoor jetted tub.
- Pool Sea View Suite with Infinity Pool About 40 square metres, with a walk-in shower and its own infinity pool. The team says these are the most requested.
- Families Two-Bedroom Suite with Sea View About 58 square metres, for up to five guests.

Getting there
Flying to Mykonos.
Mykonos airport is about 2.5 kilometres away, some ten minutes by car by our estimate. In summer, direct flights arrive from much of Europe, and Athens is a short connection all year. Private jets land at the same airport, where in July and August parking is tight and aircraft often drop their passengers and reposition.
- Athens 30 min
- Nice 2 h 30
- Geneva 2 h 45
- Paris 3 h 15
- London 3 h 40
