The hotel
Milan on the Liangma River.
Bvlgari opened in Beijing in September 2017, inside Genesis, a development in the green embassy quarter of Chaoyang next to Sanlitun. Its gardens run along the Liangma River and meet those of the Genesis Art Foundation, a museum by Tadao Ando. In the same complex, Xin Rong Ji holds three MICHELIN stars, so two of the city's serious tables are a short walk apart.
Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, who designed the first Bvlgari hotel in Milan, drew both the building and its interiors, furnished with Maxalto and B&B Italia. The spa covers 1,500 square metres on two floors, and its 25-metre pool, set below ground, is lined with mosaic after the Roman Baths of Caracalla. The MICHELIN Guide gives the hotel two Keys in 2026.
- Il Ristorante Niko Romito Seventy seats for lunch and dinner, an Italian menu by Niko Romito, and one MICHELIN star in the 2026 Beijing guide.
- The Bvlgari Spa Eleven treatment rooms on two floors, a gym, and the mosaic pool of 25 metres.
- The Bvlgari Bar An oval bar in steel and bronze, with a terrace over the gardens and the river.
