The hotel
Scenery store, then hotel.
The building on Französische Straße once held the stage sets of the Staatsoper, the Berlin State Opera, whose house on Unter den Linden lies a few minutes away on foot. The Gendarmenmarkt, with its two domed churches and the concert hall between them, is about two hundred metres off. Friedrichstraße and its shops are around the corner, and Hausvogteiplatz U-Bahn station is 200 metres away.
Titanic is a Turkish group, founded by a family of restaurateurs, and the house shows it: marble, mirrors and chandeliers, and a Turkish-inspired breakfast. For more than ten years the ground floor held the Beef Grill Club. In spring 2026 it reopened as The Main, with chef David Creuzet from the Paris region, French classics and the grill kept on. A bar and a cigar lounge sit alongside.
- The Main French onion soup and herb-crusted rack of lamb beside dry-aged rib-eye and porterhouse from the grill, with a bar and a cigar lounge alongside.
- BeFine Sports & Spa About 1,000 square metres over two floors, with an original Turkish hammam and a gym. Hotel guests use it free of charge.
- On foot to the sights The Gendarmenmarkt, Friedrichstraße, Unter den Linden and Museum Island are all within walking distance.
