The hotel
A porcelain family's town house.
The house on the rue Jean Goujon was built in 1908 for Nicolas Lucien Villeroy, of the family behind the porcelain maker Villeroy & Boch. Its neoclassical front is cut stone, and it is now listed as a historic monument. Inside, the original plaster ceilings, carved panelling and gilded wrought-iron banisters were kept, and the rooms were arranged around an inner atrium.
It opened as a hotel in 2020, under the name Hôtel Particulier Villeroy, and now runs as Maison Villeroy. The furniture is by Promemoria, the beds by Vispring and the fireplaces in Calacatta marble. The MICHELIN Guide gives it three Keys, its highest level, for eleven rooms. Guests can take a whole floor, or the whole house. The spa and gym, on the lower ground floor, never close.
- Butlers around the clock A butler team on call day and night, for eleven rooms in all.
- Trente-trois The hotel restaurant at number 33, with one MICHELIN star and Sébastien Sanjou in charge.
- Downstairs Spa, gym and treatment rooms on the lower floor, open to guests at any hour.
