The hotel
Florence on the Left Bank.
J.K. Place began in Florence, then went to Capri and Rome. Paris was its first hotel outside Italy. Ori Kafri, the founder, chose a private mansion on the rue de Lille, one street back from the Seine, and the works took about five years. The hotel opened in February 2020, only weeks before the pandemic forced it to close its doors for a time.
The Florentine designer Michele Bönan furnished it from the Saint-Ouen flea market: tables by David Hicks, lamps by Jacques Adnet, pieces by Maison Jansen, hung with drawings and antiques. No two of the 29 rooms are alike. The kitchen of Casa Tua, the Italian restaurant, opens onto a courtyard under a glass roof. The MICHELIN Guide gives the hotel two Keys in 2026.
- Casa Tua The Italian restaurant, first opened in Miami, with an open kitchen under a glass roof. Non-residents can book.
- The spa Below ground, with a heated pool long enough for lengths, a sauna, a steam room and Noble Panacea treatments.
- Breakfast Included in the room rate, along with the soft drinks in the minibar.

- Rooms Rooms Some face the street, others the paved courtyard, and each is furnished differently.
