The hotel
An art collection with rooms.
Hotel Éclat opened in March 2013 inside Parkview Green, a glass and steel complex in Chaoyang that also holds a shopping mall and offices. The building was finished more than a year before the hotel could open, while its licences were settled with the government. Its glass skin keeps the temperature inside steady, and rainwater is collected for use around the building.
The hotel is an art hotel first. Original works by Salvador Dalí and Andy Warhol hang on every floor, with pieces by Zeng Fanzhi and other Chinese artists. Of the hundred rooms, thirty-six have terraces, and eighteen suites came with an indoor pool of their own. The MICHELIN Guide gave the hotel one Key in its first selection, and it keeps it in 2026.
- Dalí and Warhol Original works by both on every floor, alongside contemporary Chinese art.
- A pool in the suite Eighteen suites were built with an indoor pool of their own, among them the Swiss Chalet, the Champs-Élysées and the Presidential Suite.
- Éclat Lounge A lounge for hotel guests only, with breakfast, canapés in the afternoon and something sweet late at night.
