The hotel
An old inn among the vines.
For years this was the Wine Country Inn & Cottages, one of the earliest bed and breakfasts in St. Helena, on a lane at the edge of town. Palisociety, the hotel company of Avi Brosh, took it over and reopened it in 2025 as its fifth Le Petit Pali, after Carmel, Laguna Beach and Brentwood, and the twenty-third hotel in the group. It kept the bed and breakfast format, with no restaurant.
The main house and the rooms sit on nearly three acres with vineyards on every side. Brosh and his own team did the interiors: plaid and stripes, brass lamps, forest green, checkerboard bathroom floors and clawfoot tubs. Breakfast comes with Taittinger, local wine is poured through the afternoon and evening, and at night a cookie arrives at the door.
- Champagne breakfast Taittinger mimosas, Model Bakery muffins and pastries, fruit and granola, in a room looking out on the vines. It comes with the stay.
- Wine all afternoon Local bottles from 1 pm to 9 pm in the Garden Bar, on the Sun Terrace and in the Main House, from producers such as Faust, Quintessa and Charles Krug.
- The pool A pool deck for guests only, with green and white umbrellas and a view across the valley.
Rooms & suites
Rooms in the inn, cottages in the vines.

- Rooms Inn rooms and suites Warm colours, wood furniture and checkerboard bathroom floors, some with a clawfoot tub.
