The hotel

Hot springs on the beach.

Ilıca lies about five kilometres east of Çeşme town, on a bay where warm springs run out into the sea itself. At the hotel the water comes up at 42 to 61 °C, slightly acidic, and is brought down to 37 or 38 °C for the thermal pools, which day visitors may also use. The beach in front first won its Blue Flag in 2004.

The hotel covers about three hectares on the shore at Altınyunus. All 310 rooms and suites have a balcony over the sea. Below the lobby, Spa Ilıca fills 3,500 square metres with a hamam, sauna, treatment rooms and a gym, and a thalasso pool of heated seawater sits beside the thermal ones. The hotel stays open after the summer season, when the indoor pools take over.
