The hotel
The villa resort of the Gloria family.
Gloria Serenity opened in 2007, the newest of three Gloria hotels in Belek, alongside Gloria Golf Resort and Gloria Verde. It covers 205,000 square metres of pines, palms and cobbled paths, and stays open all year. The beach lies on the far side of a river, reached by a long wooden bridge, and runs for 750 metres with a pier and a bar at its end.
Of its 367 rooms, 97 are villas, from Garden and Pool villas to single Queen, King, VIP and Presidential villas. Villa guests move about by golf cart, and the Pool Villas each have a pool of their own. Golf is the other draw: Gloria Golf Club, 1.5 kilometres away, has two eighteen-hole courses, Old and New, and the nine holes of Verde, sharing one driving range.
