The hotel
Butlers and the Botanic Gardens.
The St. Regis opened on Tanglin Road in April 2008, at the western end of Orchard Road, a few minutes from the Botanic Gardens. More than seventy works of art hang in the public rooms, among them pieces by Botero, Picasso and Chagall alongside artists from the region. Butlers, a St. Regis habit since the brand began in New York, are on call around the clock.
In 2024 the hotel began its first full renovation, a project of 44 million Singapore dollars carried out in phases. The Singapore studio FBEYE International led it, and its founder, Warren Foster-Brown, had worked on the original design. All 299 rooms were redone in greens and blues taken from the Botanic Gardens. The last piece, the presidential suite, was finished in September 2026.
