Pearl-Continental grew out of the InterContinental hotels that opened in Pakistan in the 1960s, starting in Karachi in 1964. The group bought them and renamed them, and Lahore was among the first cities in the chain. The group now has several addresses in Lahore, among them PC Legacy by the airport, and this hotel carries the city's name.
It stands on Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, the road most people in Lahore still call The Mall. The hotel counts 607 rooms and suites over eight floors, banquet halls and meeting rooms, five restaurants and cafés, a spa with Thai massage and hydrotherapy, and a temperature-controlled pool outside.
