The hotel
Glass on the ministerial avenues.
Le Méridien stands at Windsor Place, where the broad avenues of Lutyens' Delhi meet the shops of Janpath and Connaught Place. Government offices and the National Media Centre are its neighbours, and India Gate, Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhawan are close by. Delhi Tourism counts the building among its 100 Icons of Delhi, and four metro stations, Janpath and Central Secretariat among them, are within reach.
The tower is clad in glass, and inside a central atrium rises through the floors with the restaurants and bars around it. Guests arrive past Homo Sapiens, an interactive artwork by the artists Thukral & Tagra. Every room looks out over the city, and the twentieth floor holds the Club Lounge, a café and bar, and Permit Room with its sake bar.
- Twentieth floor Permit Room, a café and bar and the Club Lounge share the top of the tower and its views over central Delhi.
- Pool on the fourth floor An outdoor pool above the traffic, free for hotel guests, with a gym alongside.
- On foot Connaught Place and the stalls of Janpath are within walking distance, and four metro stations are close by.
