The hotel
Rotana's first address in Africa.
Kin Plaza Arjaan opened in February 2017, when the Governor of Kinshasa, André Kimbuta Yongo, inaugurated it in the presence of Rotana's chairman, Nasser Al Nowais. For Rotana it was the first hotel in Africa, with projects in Luanda, Lagos and Dar es Salaam then in the pipeline. Arjaan is the group's name for hotel apartments, which explains the kitchenettes and the studios built for longer stays.
The eleven storeys stand at the corner of the Avenue de la Justice and Avenue Ouganda in La Gombe, a few minutes from the main embassies, the ministries and the Boulevard du 30 Juin. The hotel opens directly into the Kin Plaza shopping mall, so the shops are under the same roof. There are also four meeting rooms and a grand ballroom for conferences and receptions.
