The hotel
A hotel on the hill.
Mont Fébé is one of the seven hills of Yaoundé, with a Benedictine monastery on it, where the Cameroon Art Museum is kept. The hotel stands on its slopes above the city, an eleven-storey block of 218 rooms, about ten minutes from downtown by car. Some rooms have a balcony over the fairways of the Yaoundé Golf Club; others look out to the hills.
Northstar Meetings Group records its last full renovation in 1982, and guest reports from early 2026 describe rooms being redone. The grounds have room to spread out: an indoor pool and an outdoor one, a pool for children, two tennis courts and a bar beside the water. The Salon Unité, 350 square metres, hosts conferences, and Vita Park lies within two kilometres.
