The hotel
From Bukhara Palace to Wyndham.
The building on Alisher Navoi Avenue opened in 1996 as the Bukhara Palace hotel. After many years under that name it was reconstructed by Wide Tent System, with the Turkish contractor KOS Construction doing the building work, and reopened on 26 December 2022 as Wyndham Bukhara. The deputy tourism minister and the regional governor came for the ceremony, and the hotel began taking guests that same day.
It now has 212 rooms, four of them presidential, for up to 450 guests, and about two hundred local staff were hired for the opening. The address is central: Wyndham names the Ark of Bukhara and the Kalon Minaret among its neighbours, and the main sights of the old town are within walking distance. Two restaurants, a bar and a pool bar serve the hotel.
- Prana spa A spa and gym open 24 hours, with a Turkish bath and a sauna.
- Seasonal pool An outdoor pool with its own bar for the warm months.
- Executive Lounge Senior Executive rooms and Ambassador suites come with access to the lounge.
