Roca Golf takes its name from its neighbour, the Bujumbura golf course, and the rooms look out either onto the course or onto the pool. Guests can use the driving range and book lessons. In Burundi's national grading of 2019 the hotel was one of the city's four-star addresses. Back from the course, guests have a pool with cabanas and loungers, a day spa for massages and a gym that never closes.
It stands on Boulevard de la Tanzanie, near the centre: Place de l'Indépendance is about ten minutes on foot and the central market a little further. Lake Tanganyika is some five minutes away by car, and the Rusizi Delta nature reserve about thirteen kilometres. Breakfast is a buffet at the Greenview, the restaurant by the pool, and room service runs through the night.
