A garden hotel on the Kiriri hill.
When Burundi's government graded the country's hotels in 2019, against East African Community criteria, Kiriri Garden was placed in the four-star tier. It is a small, modern house of nineteen rooms and suites, all air-conditioned, with a reception that stays open around the clock, a concierge, a restaurant cooking international dishes and a lounge bar. Breakfast is a buffet, served every morning.
The hotel stands on Avenue Belvédère in Kiriri, a quarter in the hills above the city centre. From the furnished roof terrace the view runs across the roofs of Bujumbura. Below it are a garden, an outdoor pool with its own bar, a small spa for massages and a fitness room. One suite, the Deluxe Studio, looks towards Lake Tanganyika.
