The hotel
Four houses at the end of the cape.
Kerem sits on the hillside at the tip of Plai Laem, the cape on Samui's north-eastern corner, above a beach of its own. Chaweng is only a few minutes away by car. Down here there are just four villas, two at the foot of the slope with steps onto the sand and two on a terrace a short climb above.
The architect Gary Fell drew them as modern houses with wide glass walls on the Gulf of Thailand, and the Italian firm Meridiani furnished them. Each has three full bedrooms, a kitchen, room to gather and an infinity pool with a jetted bench and a shallow end. There is no restaurant: breakfast is cooked in your own kitchen, and paddleboards and kayaks wait on the beach.
- A private beach Most days are spent on the sand below the villas, with paddleboards and sea kayaks to take out.
- Your own kitchen Breakfast is cooked in the villa, and lunch and dinner can be served there too.
- Massages Massages and spa treatments are given in the villas on request.

Three bedrooms, every time.
The four villas come in two pairs, one pair on the beach and one on the terrace above.
- On the terrace Villa Muscat and Villa Gamay About 700 square metres each, with a leafy terrace and a nine-metre infinity pool. Up to eight guests.
- On the beach Villa Syrah and Villa Solaris About 800 square metres each, with a garden and sala, a thirteen-metre L-shaped infinity pool and steps onto the sand.

- Arrival Check-in from 2 pm, check-out by 11 am. A damage deposit is taken on arrival and refunded after inspection.
- Children Welcome, charged as extra guests. Cots and babysitting on request.

Getting there
Flying to Koh Samui.
Samui Airport lies just south-west of Plai Laem, about ten minutes by car by our estimate, and transfers are included with the stay. Private jets land at Samui too, with parking and permits arranged ahead; Bangkok Don Mueang, an hour's flight away, is the alternative with a private terminal.
