The hotel

A photographer's house in Miraflores.

The house was built in the 1940s as a Tudor-style family home, on a leafy corner of Arica and Santa María. It opened as a hotel in August 2016 with nine rooms over two floors. The rooms are dressed as the home of an imaginary photographer, with antiques, collected objects and pictures on the walls, and modern comforts behind them.

Only guests come through the door. Breakfast is served in the back garden, under a veranda with heaters for the grey Lima winter, and the kitchen keeps cooking day and night. Astrid y Gastón is a short walk away, as is Huaca Pucllana, the adobe pyramid in the middle of Miraflores. The MICHELIN Guide gave Atemporal one of Peru's first Keys in 2025.

  • The house car A red Mini Cooper with a chauffeur for short trips around the city, at an extra charge and subject to availability.
  • Evening drink A drink between 5 and 7 pm, and an honesty bar in the salon after that.
  • The library Upstairs, with coffee, tea and the international papers.
