The hotel
A new Hilton by the Brazzaville ferry.
Hilton Kinshasa opened in 2023 in La Gombe, the business and shopping district on the river. It stands next to the Congo Trade Centre, close to the American embassy, and the ferry across to Brazzaville leaves from a landing five minutes' walk away. The Kinshasa golf course and the Stade des Martyrs, the national stadium, are both a short drive away.
Valor Hospitality Partners runs the hotel, its first in this part of Africa. The 178 rooms and suites look out over the city or towards the Congo. Besides the restaurants and bars there are business and executive lounges, a library and twelve rooms for meetings and parties, among them a ballroom, eight banquet rooms and a lounge set aside for weddings. Forbes Afrique calls it the place to be for visiting celebrities.
